Meet Grayson Jenkins

Born and raised in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky—the same coal country immortalized in John Prine’s “Paradise”—Grayson Jenkins has made a name for himself as a truth-seeking, road-worn storyteller. With four independent releases under his belt and shows across the U.S., UK, and Canada, he’s earned the respect of fellow artists like Pony Bradshaw, Vincent Neil Emerson, and Nicholas Jamerson, who have brought him along on tour.


Grayson’s songs explore the complicated, messy beauty of life—shaped by experiences on Kentucky farms, late-night conversations, heartbreak, and healing. He spent over a decade in Lexington, earning degrees and working for the University of Kentucky, before committing fully to music and life on the road. Today, he splits his time between Kentucky and wherever his next story takes him.


His upcoming record, Country Parables, promises a continued deep-dive into personal and communal truths, with Jenkins’ signature blend of world-weary insight and poetic grace.
